Terms and Conditions

  1. Why these terms exist
  2. Nobody ever expects a small(ish) fan community to turn on one another, but the truth of the matter is: Accidents and mistakes happen, tempers flare, and in the end we all wish that we had a set of rules that would help us handle a hairy situation. We’re sure you understand and respect that.

  3. Accepting these Terms
  4. These Terms and Conditions (“the terms” for short) are a legally binding contract between you and The Ineffable Con and its representatives, Rachael Livermore and Bethany Windsor.

  5. Your Privacy
  6. The Ineffable Con guarantees that your personal details will not be shared with third parties that are not directly involved in the purchase of tickets. Please see full details of our Privacy Policy, and the Accelevents Privacy Policy.

  7. General Rules
    1. Age limit
      1. You must be at least 13 years old to purchase a membership of the convention.
      2. If you’re younger than 13, you may have a parent or guardian purchase a membership on your behalf; under UK law we just need their permission to hold your information.

    2. Miscellaneous
      1. The name you give with your registration does not have to be your legal name; you are welcome to give another name that you use in fandom spaces. Please choose a name that is not offensive (i.e. racist, ableist, etc.) or vulgar. If you’re worried that your usual username might be any of those things, feel free to contact us before booking.

  8. Behaviour during the event
  9. While we do not wish to tell you how to behave or act during what’s supposed to be a fun event for everyone involved, we’d like to raise a few points for your consideration. Please note that the organisers reserve the right to eject you from the convention without a refund if you do breach any of these policies.

    1. Be polite and friendly to any attendees and guests.
    2. Respect other people’s privacy! Do not save photographs or video of other people without their permission, and ensure that you clear about the intended purpose (posting it online, for example) as not everyone is comfortable with having their picture taken or seeing it uploaded to the internet.
    3. Keep the explicit material (fanworks, discussions of sexual/violent/traumatic scenarios, etc.) to designated spaces. Please do not confront anyone with explicit material without their consent, and be mindful that minors may be present.
    4. Do not harass or disrespect any attendees, guests or staff.
    5. Violation of these terms may result in an immediate exclusion and ban from the event.
    6. The convention co-chairs' decision regarding any violation of these terms is final.

  10. Cancellation policy
    1. General cancellation policy
    2. All convention memberships are non-refundable, but can be transferred. You can transfer your membership by logging in and changing the details of the ticket holder in your Accelevents account.

We only advertise special guest appearances with written permission from the guest; however, all appearances are tentative and are subject to change if work demands conflict with the convention. In the event of a guest cancellation, The Ineffable Con 2 is not responsible for any refunds.

Please do not attend for just one guest. The Ineffable Con is a celebration of Good Omens in all its incarnations, and of its fandom.

Advance orders placed for merchandise can be cancelled up to 25th September 2020 by sending an email to

Exhibitor booths may be cancelled up to Wednesday 14th October 2020 for a full refund.

      Exhibitor Booths

The Ineffable Con provides space for attendees to exhibit their work and sell products to attendees, but is not responsible for the content of exhibitor booths. We reserve the right to remove any booths containing illegal or offensive content, or which bring the event into disrepute.

Material of a sexually explicit nature is permitted, but the booth must be clearly marked as containing adult content and the logo visible on the main exhibitor page must not contain any explicit content.

Any artists wishing to display a mixture of explicit and non-explicit work may request a second booth free of charge for the purpose of separating them.

    3. The Ineffable Con Merchandise
      1. The Ineffable Con merchandise is not manufactured manually, but custom ordered from various online and local services and shops.

      2. The general refund policy (see above) applies.

      3. While we do our best not to send out faulty merchandise, The Ineffable Con and its representatives reject responsibility for manufacturing faults or damages that are not a direct result of our handling and packaging of the item. If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately and provide pictures of the unopened package as well as the broken item(s).

    4. Disputes with The Ineffable Con
      1. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and apply no matter where in the world you live.

      2. You and The Ineffable Con agree that any claims arising from or relating to the terms shall be settled by arbitration.

      3. The main organisers of the Ineffable Con are based in the United Kingdom. Any legal action or arbitration must take place in the United Kingdom.

    5. Changes to the terms
    6. The Ineffable Con and its representatives may update or change these terms. Any changes will be announced publicly on any of our known online platforms and emailed to convention members.

    7. Contact Information
    8. If you have any questions about these terms, or about the convention, please
